We have to understand that all the steps we have gone through are only to get into this stage of meditation (dhyana). Hence to start with we have to take the vision with eyes closed
to broomadhya dhrishti again chanting ‘aum’ to channelise the thoughts and slowly withdraw into silence to go to the depth of meditation. this much of a lengthy procedure to go to this
stage would have definitely made one to have effective meditation. One should aim only for this and stay in this state as long as he or she can. The duration of the meditation
period should increase as the days go by. Generally we spend 15 to 20 minutes.
Part - 2
It is always preferable to do meditation in the same place at the same time to get the benefit. The ideal time to do meditation is preferably in the morning during brahma
muhurtha (anywhere from 3 am to the time of sunrise) and in the evening as the sun is setting.
Part - 3
Before coming out of meditation slowly get back by tracking the vision from above to the end of spine (Kundalini chakra) which has to be raised (an experience obtained by
practice) and chanting Ram simultaneously as we started initially and mentally trying to distribute the energy obtained from kundalini to the whole body.
